TO CREATE THE FORM YOURSELF

You can create your form in Google Forms.
  • It’s free.
  • You need a Gmail (Google) account.
  • You can receive RSVPs by email and have them automatically saved in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
  • Ask your guests whatever you want!.
Where to begin?

Search for “Google Forms” in Google, and then click “Go to Forms.”
A blank form will open up. Give it a title.
There are several types of questions.
When you add a question, you can select the type of question.

Here are some of the most frequent:

Short answer:These are questions with one-line responses. For example, name, phone number, email…

Paragraph: These responses have several lines. For example, if you ask for names of +1s, or comments.

Checkboxes: When you can choose more than one response. For example, when you ask your guests to indicate food allergies or intolerances.

Dropdown: When you can choose one of several options. For example, when indicating whether or not they will attend.
How do you add a question?

Click the + button, and in the dropdown menu on the right, choose the kind of question you want to add.
Mandatory questions

Some questions will have to be mandatory, such as the guest’s name, while others may not be mandatory. You can make a question mandatory by clicking the button for this.

How do you generate a link to the form?

Click the Send button, choose the Link option and Shorten URL, and make sure the Do Not Collect option is selected.
In addition to receiving responses by email, you can choose to have them be uploaded to a Google Sheet.

The best thing about using a Google Form is that everything can be uploaded to a Google Sheet (similar to Excel). When you open that document, all of the information will be there.
